Uni has finally started

" You are no longer college students but University students!", uttered my less masculine program leader.

Those words rang in my ears as if there is no end. I mean what's the difference since I am still in a college environment? Does the fact that my exam papers fly halfway across the globe make me more of a university student?. I guess it does. The first day as a university student, you get slapped with the assignment of printing out a 100 page financial report of a UK - based organization for the upcoming tutorial; which by the way is the exact printing amount given to me for the whole semester. That's only for one subject.

Nonethelss, I had a pretty ok day. Started with being late for class as usual. Completely blur as to what the lecturer was talking about accompanied with lousy wooden chairs that feels as if it is going to fall apart anytime soon and did I mention the icy cool temperature. Well, I hereby welcome myself back to the education world.

I find that as a new semester starts, I am bound to complain about the timetable. This time I won't complain because I have learnt to live with it as I have no control over it. It's sad. Real sad.

One more thing, I made a completely fool of myself in front of my 100 or more coursemates for asking silly questions. To my own defense I am entitled to be ignorant. After all, I am considered a new student. hehe.

Note to self : Get rid of lazy diploma attitude. Time to work !

Will update as I go along. Things are getting exciting. As the song goes:

I feel it in my fingers,

I feel it in my toes,

Love is all around me,

................

Toodles!

After a long silence..

stretches and yawns....

stretches and yawns....

stretches and yawns.....

Tiredness. Tiredness due to waiting for uni to start. Tiredness due to an almost 3 hour cooking yesterday and lastly just tired with the administration of a certain college.

Other than being tired, the past 2 weeks have been rather fun. Meeting up with close friends, shopping a little here and there, and cooking for my mum's and aunty's birthday which was celebrated yesterday - which turned out pretty well I should say.

For the first time, I cooked baked lamb, potatoes with chicken, carbonara spagetti and my dear friend Jenny made cream puffs (which by the way is my favourite dessert other than baked cheesecake from San Francisco Coffeehouse *hint hint*)

As for my latest passion, I am totally crazy over stationaries. Apart from my stagnant interest in buying bags, I have succumbed into the world of pens, pencils, rulers, highlighters and more. I feel so happy shopping for stationaries (totally no life I know!)I guess I just have the excitement of returning to the education world. The feeling is similar to what I felt when I first entered college. Although, *grin* I have yet to get my hands on a new bag. hehe

Last but not least, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO JESSAMINE ! *hugs hugs*

May you grow stronger in the Lord each day and may the spirit and power of the Lord be with you all the days of your life!

Next post, I will put up some pictures of the white water rafting adventure in France and the amazing time I had in Barcelona. Till then, I can't wait for to meet up with my chee mui Jamie. Yay!
